A 120 kW DC charger is built for sites where cars queue: highway charging hubs, busy city stations and fleet depots that need vehicles back on the road quickly. Most 120 kW units have two CCS2 guns and split the power between them, so two cars can charge at the same time without a second machine.

Which cars can use a 120 kW DC charger?

Any EV with a CCS2 socket, which covers most electric cars sold in India. Each car decides how much power it accepts, so many cars will charge below 120 kW, which is why dual-gun sharing is useful.

Should I choose 60 kW or 120 kW?

Choose 120 kW if you expect several cars an hour, such as on a highway or at a fleet depot, and can arrange the larger power connection. For quieter sites, 60 kW usually costs less to buy and connect.
