Chargers for 2W and 3W

LEVDC chargers for two- and three-wheelers

LEVDC stands for light electric vehicle DC charging. Instead of a car-style CCS2 gun at several hundred volts, an LEVDC charger supplies low-voltage DC, up to about 120 V, through a smaller Type 6 connector made for electric scooters, e-rickshaws and e-autos.

Because the charger does the AC to DC conversion, vehicles charge faster than from a plain socket, and operators can meter and bill each session. Compare LEVDC chargers below and send one enquiry to the brand you choose.

Where LEVDC chargers work best

Typical power ratings by site. The right choice depends on how many vehicles charge each day and the power connection available.

E-rickshaw and e-auto stands

Typical: 6 to 12 kW

Drivers top up between trips at the stand, so vehicles spend more time earning.

Delivery and logistics fleets

Typical: 6 to 12 kW

Food, grocery and parcel fleets charge many scooters at a hub, with metering per vehicle.

Housing societies

Typical: 3 to 6 kW

Residents with electric scooters get a shared, metered charging point instead of trailing extension cords.

Offices and campuses

Typical: 3 to 6 kW

Two-wheeler commuters charge during the working day.

Dealerships and service centres

Typical: 3 to 6 kW

Charge vehicles before delivery and after service, and offer charging to customers.

Public parking and markets

Typical: 6 to 12 kW

Paid LEVDC points add a revenue stream where two- and three-wheelers park.

Questions buyers ask

What is an LEVDC charger?

LEVDC means light electric vehicle DC. It is a DC charger built for electric two- and three-wheelers. It supplies low-voltage DC, up to about 120 V, through a compact Type 6 connector, instead of the high-voltage CCS2 used by electric cars.

Which vehicles can use a Type 6 LEVDC charger?

Electric two- and three-wheelers that have a Type 6 charging socket. Many scooters and e-rickshaws in India use other connectors or charge from a normal socket, so check your vehicle's charging inlet or ask the dealer before buying.

How is LEVDC different from charging from a wall socket?

A wall socket feeds AC to the vehicle's own small charger, which is slow. An LEVDC charger converts power itself and supplies DC directly, so charging is faster, and you can track and bill each session with RFID or an app.

Do I need a three-phase connection?

Not always. Single-gun 3 kW units can run on single-phase power. Dual-gun and higher-power units for fleets usually need three-phase. Check your sanctioned load before choosing.

Can I buy a charger directly on this website?

No. My EV Charger does not sell chargers. Send an enquiry and verified sellers will contact you with quotes, installation details and timelines.
